Asset Vaulting Overview
Ready.cards provides access to third-party vaulting services for eligible collectible trading cards. Vaulting refers to the secure physical storage of an accepted collectible in a controlled facility while the owner retains legal title to the asset, subject to the terms of the applicable agreements.
Ready.cards does not purchase, acquire title to, or assume ownership of user-submitted collectibles. All vaulted assets remain the property of the submitting user, except where ownership is lawfully transferred through permitted platform mechanisms.
Vaulting services are provided pursuant to a bailment arrangement, under which Ready.cards and its custody partners hold physical possession of the asset for safekeeping only.
Eligibility & Intake
Only collectibles that meet Ready.cards’ eligibility criteria may be accepted for vaulting. Eligibility requirements may include, without limitation:
Authentication or grading by recognized third-party grading services
Condition requirements
Category or asset-type restrictions
Compliance with applicable laws, sanctions, and platform risk policies
Ready.cards reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or reject any asset submission for any reason, including risk, compliance, or operational considerations.
Acceptance of an asset for vaulting does not constitute a representation or warranty as to its authenticity, condition, or value.
Authentication & Verification
Where authentication or grading is required, Ready.cards relies on independent third-party grading and verification providers. Ready.cards does not independently authenticate collectibles and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or conclusions of any third-party grading or authentication service.
Users acknowledge and agree that:
Grading and authentication are subjective opinions
Disputes regarding grading or authenticity must be resolved with the applicable third-party provider
Ready.cards is not responsible for grading errors or disagreements
Storage & Custody
Vaulted collectibles are stored in secure, third-party storage facilities that may include climate-controlled environments and monitored access controls.
Specific facility locations, security procedures, and operational details are not publicly disclosed for security reasons.
Ready.cards may change custody providers, storage locations, or logistics partners at any time, provided that reasonable care is maintained consistent with industry standards.
Insurance Coverage
Vaulted collectibles may be covered under insurance policies maintained by Ready.cards or its third-party custody providers, subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits of the applicable insurance policies.
Insurance coverage:
Is not guaranteed for all assets
May be subject to coverage caps, deductibles, exclusions, or valuation methodologies
Does not constitute a promise of full reimbursement in all circumstances
Ready.cards does not act as an insurer and makes no independent representation regarding insurance coverage beyond what is provided under applicable policies.
Loss, Damage & Claims
In the unlikely event of loss or physical damage to a vaulted collectible while in custody, Ready.cards will facilitate the claims process in accordance with the applicable insurance policy and custody agreement.
Any compensation, if available, will be limited to:
The insured value as determined under the applicable policy
Subject to coverage limits, exclusions, and claim approval
Ready.cards’ maximum liability for any loss or damage is strictly limited to the amount actually recoverable under applicable insurance, if any, and Ready.cards disclaims any responsibility for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Valuation
Any valuation used for insurance or claims purposes:
May differ from market prices or user expectations
May be determined by third-party insurers or adjusters
Does not represent a guaranteed sale price or liquidity value
Ready.cards does not guarantee that any collectible can be sold, redeemed, or replaced at a specific value.
Force Majeure
Ready.cards shall not be liable for loss, delay, or failure to perform resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, supply chain disruptions, or failures of third-party service providers.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
Ensuring submitted assets are lawfully owned
Complying with all eligibility and submission requirements
Maintaining accurate account and identity information
Reviewing and understanding all applicable risk disclosures
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in rejection, suspension, or forfeiture of platform access.
No Fiduciary Relationship
Nothing in this section or elsewhere on the platform creates a fiduciary, advisory, or trust relationship between Ready.cards and any user. Ready.cards acts solely as a service provider facilitating access to custody and digital platform features.
